Denis-Christel Sassou Nguesso
Minister of International Cooperation and the Promotion of Public-Private Partnership
Denis-Christel Sassou Nguesso is a Congolese politician born on 14 January 1975 in Brazzaville.
He first held responsibilities in the economic and energy field, notably within public bodies connected to the oil sector. His institutional career then moved into the parliamentary and governmental life of the country.
Elected as a member of the National Assembly, he took part in legislative work and in the broad direction of national public policy.
In May 2021 he entered the Government as Minister of International Cooperation and the Promotion of Public-Private Partnership. In that office he contributes to the development of economic partnerships, to mobilising external cooperation and to promoting structuring investment.
His work forms part of the bilateral and multilateral cooperation effort, and of the search for innovative mechanisms fostering the development and economic appeal of the Republic of the Congo.
