Biometric passport
The Congolese biometric passport is issued by the Embassy to Congolese nationals residing in the consular district. Applications are made by appointment, with the supporting documents presented in person.
First application
A complete file with birth certificate, certificate of nationality and passport photographs.
Renewal
The previous passport, recent passport photographs and the renewal form.
Emergency travel document
Where a passport has been lost or stolen, an emergency travel document may be issued to allow the holder to return to the Republic of the Congo. This temporary document requires a police report of the loss or theft.
Times and collection
Issuing times for the biometric passport vary through the year. Collection is in person, on presentation of identification. Applicable fees are listed on the consular fees page.
